Our Volunteer’s
Jojo Ruba
Jojo began to experience same-sex attractions as a teenager. At university, he began to see Christian counselors who helped him realize that his attractions were something that he had, not something that he had to be, that his sexuality did not have to shape his identity. Though he sometimes struggles with these attractions today, he has chosen to be celibate and live consistently with his faith.
Ann Gillies
As a parent of a formerly gay son, who spent considerable time with the trans community, my desire is to help parents navigate these precarious relationships from a biblical perspective with love, compassion, and the ability to challenge cultural ideologies.
Other Volunteers
We do have other volunteers who may help us provide counseling support, including those who have chosen to longer identify as transgender. These volunteers would be able to help those with those specific needs.
